The fast-casual dining industry often prioritizes speed over experience, leaving little room for personality or storytelling in branding and packaging.

I reimagined the classic hot dog with Funky Franks, a brand that blends nostalgia with gourmet quality. Inspired by vintage ferry tickets and retro comic-style illustrations, the packaging embraces hand-touched details. Each box is custom-stamped with the hot dog’s style, ingredients are circled by hand, and every order is personally signed “Certified Fresh” by a worker—creating an intimate, interactive experience.

Funky Franks elevates fast food into a memorable and immersive brand. The personal touches and storytelling transform a simple meal into an engaging moment, proving that even fast-casual dining can feel handcrafted and special.
