BRANDING
The synthetic biology community thrives on innovation and interconnected research, yet visually representing these complex ideas in a brand campaign remains a challenge.
I created a branded campaign that embodies exploration, experimentation, and growth. Using an adapted version of Patt Vira’s Slime Mold code, I simulated the organic expansion of Physarum polycephalum—an intelligent, single-celled organism that forms efficient networks in search of nutrients. This visualization mirrors the synthetic biology field’s collaborative nature and its continuous evolution.
The campaign transforms abstract scientific concepts into an engaging and dynamic brand identity. By integrating computational biology with design, the visuals capture the essence of synthetic biology—adaptable, ever-expanding, and deeply interconnected.
