Transcend

MOTION | EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN

Transcend is an experiential design project that investigates liminality, perception, and transformation through space and motion. Inspired by Mesoamerican burial sites such as Tomb 104 at Monte Albán, the installation reframes the tomb as an interface between worlds rather than a site of closure. A single participant enters a 5ft × 5ft enclosed environment containing kinetic typography that destabilizes language and meaning over time. By collapsing spatial, temporal, and perceptual boundaries, TRANSCEND creates an embodied meditation on transcendence as a continuous and uncertain passage between states of being.
